Rapidly decreasing numbers of men of working age, and an aging population, mean that European businesses and economies face the possibility of a decreasing recruitment pool in the future. This represents a huge social issue for Europe.
As part of the Enterprise 2020 initiative from CSR Europe, Hitachi is working with Vodafone, Randstad, SAP, Evonik Industries and BASF in a collaborative venture to tackle the effects of demographic change in Europe.
