Tokyo, January 30, 2014 -- Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501, “Hitachi”) on November 25, 2013 announced that it had decided to reorganize and concentrate the information and control solution business for industrial fields, the security system business and the printed-circuit board manufacturing business on April 1, 2014. These businesses are currently spread out across Hitachi and five Group companies. The purpose of the restructuring is to strengthen and expand the infrastructure systems business.
