London, April 12 — Hitachi Consulting, the global business and IT consulting arm of Hitachi, Ltd., (NYSE:HIT) today announced that it has acquired Impact Plus, a London-based business and IT consulting firm which specializes in serving the Public Sector and Financial Services Sector. Impact Plus counts among its clients three of the top five UK-based banks, as well as many leading Finance & Leasing, General Insurance, and Life & Pensions providers.
At this year's CeBIT in Hanover, Germany Hitachi will be displaying key technologies from its extensive range of products and solutions to demonstrate how they can improve lives. The technologies on show will include Application Optimised™ Storage solutions, biometric security applications, new high performance In-Plane Switching (IPS) LCD panels and innovative removal storage disks. In a special showcase, Hitachi will demonstrate how each of the key technologies on display can bring improvements to the demanding environment of health care delivery.
Hitachi Europe is pleased to announce the introduction of the New DC Inverter Utopia IVX bringing Variable Refrigerant Flow to the Utopia range of air conditioners. The IVX is a very efficient product boasting an extremely high COP of 4.24 (8HP models) and is a further development on its predecessor which was presented with the “Shoeene Taishou” (Energy Efficiency Award) by the Japanese Government.
The new AquaFree is the latest addition to the Hitachi product range. The system comprises of a Hitachi DC Inverter Heat Pump outdoor unit and a water module indoor unit and can provide efficient water heating for a variety of applications to include low temperature radiators, under floor heating and swimming pools. It also has the added feature of offering partial cooling for those hot summer months.
