Hitachi's Social Innovation conference, held together with Frost & Sullivan, attracted 176 participants on 19 February 2014 at the Ciragan Palace in Turkey's capital city. Hitachi's Chief Executive for Europe, Mr. Dieter Rennert delivered the main keynote, explaining Hitachi's approach to Social Innovation Business. This was followed by two panel discussions on Smart Water Solutions and Intelligent Infrastructures. The lively debates ranged from the integration of ICT in urban infrastructure and Social Innovation to City Infrastructures, Smart Grids, Low-Emission Urban Transportation, Smart Water Networks and Healthcare, Big Data and Biometrics Solutions.
